Joshua Kleinbergs worked in the construction industry for 12 years before enrolling in Fullerton Community College. He earned Associate of Arts Degrees in both Political Science and Behavioral Science at Fullerton before accepting admittance to UC Berkeley, where he is currently studying Social Welfare and Global Poverty. After earning his BA, he plans on attending graduate school.
Joshua has three children: eight-year-old Maya, seven-year-old Hopi, and six-month-old Odin. He and his children relocated from Southern to Northern California, leaving behind a solid support system of family and friends, but has since established a community of friendships within the University Village, UC Berkeley’s family student housing, and the vibrant student parent community at UC Berkeley, that he can count on for support.
