Counseling

Academic Counseling & Holistic Support

At the Student Parent Center, we recognize that student parents balance academics, family responsibilities, and many other priorities. Academic counselors are available to help you navigate your Berkeley experience, connect with resources, plan for your academic goals, and work through challenges or unexpected life events.

Not sure where to start? Connect with the Student Parent Center. You can meet with Anna Hilke for one-on-one support and help identifying the resources and programs that may be most useful to you.

You can also meet with a CE3 counselor

Student parents can also receive counseling and individualized support through programs across the Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence (CE3). If you already participate in one of these programs (or think one may be a good fit for you) you can connect directly with its counselors and staff.

Beyond counseling, these programs offer additional resources, community, and support that may be helpful throughout your time at Berkeley.
